Nonni’s Fried Peppers

Ingredients
  

  • 3 long Italian peppers
  • salt to taste
  • oil

Instructions
 

  • String peppers to hang in dry in a cool, dry place for about 2 days. (like Nonni’s cellar)
  • Dry them with a towel.
  • Cut peppers in half, discarding seeds.
  • Heat oil in frying pan.
  • Add peppers to oil to fry, quickly flipping them.
  • Remove once they crisp up.
  • Season with salt to taste.
  • Let fully cool before enjoying!
